Welcome to the Australian V-Series registrar.

Designed to document, acknowledge and track all General Motors Holden vehicles that have modern Sandman DNA. Be it a factory built Holden By Design (HBD) Holden Special Vehicles Individual (HSVi) tagged version or an AMCAT build we want your pride and joy on the registrar.

It benefits all of us V-Series lovers as a whole both today but more-so in the future. A known history of a car adds value along with marking your place in V-Series history. These builds are limited number cars and deserve their place in Australian motoring history.

The V-Series is a Holden or HSV variant that started life as a 2000 VU to 2015 VF Ute or with the VF the Sportswagon Sandman is included. These vehicles have been fitted with a Sandman canopy to give the Panel Van shape to match that of the 2000 VU Holden Mambo Sandman concept Van or the latest 2015 Sandman Ute or Sportswagon release.

Another reason for the registrar is to obtain as close as possible the amount of these unique cars that were built and how many survive as the years go by. As close as we can tell 224 VY VZ 2003 to 2006 HBD/HSVi factory tagged Sandman's were sold. Of this approximately 11 were HSV Maloo variants. We are lucky to already have some of these listed in the V-Series data-base. Some were promotional cars while others were done for the Australian defence force.
